What type of fuel do you use?
Yesterday I put in the new Shell V-Power in my 2003 TT. I've heard many different opinions on which fuel to use. I've heard bad things bout Amico 93 octane from a local dealer. He told me to only use Chevron or Shell. What do you guys think?

It all comes out of the same pipeline. Some have slightly different additives. Some gas stations..
... might have dirty storage tanks.
While some gas stations may have dirty gas, I don't think this is correlated with brand.
After all, the same truck might deliver gas to both Shell and an independent. There was a class action suit in San Francisco alleging that BP was charging its franchises more per gallon that it was charging independents who bought the exact same gas.

Shell from Herb in Sausaltio...
Because it is convenient, because Herb checks underground tanks for water infiltration during the rainy season, because Herb has a car wash Shell where I get my wife's RAV 4 washed and detailed, because Herb is a kind person who has a pair of Snauzer dogs and gives free dog biscuits to customers who have dogs, because Herb put the controvesial Mermaid Scupture on his lot when others found it objectionable, and because Herb is a good citizen and businessman who contributes annually to the Sausalito Art Fair...
