Default Wheel Spacer Help (Tried search)

I'm keeping my "fat 5's"

I want that wide look though, could someone please give me the best choice for overall effect and function.

I don't want it to look like a skateboard... is 20mm in the back and 10mm in the front a good combo?

What other things am I looking at when I do this, does it throw off camber or anything...

any downsides to having the wheels sticking out further?

I tried a search, but I couldn't really answer many of my questions. Thank you guys.

Default You could go 25 rear and 15 up front and be fine with OEM rims...

However, I would lower the car before I put spacers on if you can. The 4x4 look has got to go my friend!

yeah, good call on the lowering, however, I really don't know if I want to do that.

Eeeek, any idea what it would look like without being lowered?

PS: Thank you very much for your fast response.

Default Personally, I think it would look goofy w/out lowering.

The TT is way to tall stock. Even just lowering 1 inch or so looks good. You certainly don't have to slam it down to the ground.

Others will soon give their opinion and ultimatly it is what you feel is best for YOUR car man.

Congrat's by the way!

I agree with Cheese, if you are going to spend money on spacers, i'd rather get sway bars

Default I agree. Lower, or don't bother. It'll look poor aesthetically if you don't.

Default I disagree, I went the 25/15 route with the fat fives and...

didn't lower the car. I doesn't look as good as a lowered vehicle, but still looks a he11 of a lot better than without the spacers. Go for it, you won't be sorry.

Default

you're right - the adjustment *sounds* subtle, but dramatically affects the proportions.

Default I went 15 front and 20 back with my OEM 5 spokes

I really like the look. The main problem I have is that I get a lot of brake dust/burnt rubber/junk just outside the wheel wells.

My car is white too, so it shows up very easily. When the wheels were set further in I didn't have this problem.
