Default White smoke when I let off from the exhaust Head Gasket? or...

Need some Advice, I installed a Mocal laminar oil cooler yesterday, after install started the car then three mins later turned it off, massive smoke. I noticed that my pressure on my accusump went through the roof obviously the cooler was putting back pressure on the system and not allowing the oil to flow properly back into the motor.

I removed the cooler and fired the car back up. It normalized and the car feels like normal; however when I let off the gas white smoke pours out the exhaust, smells bad per the guy following me.

Thoughts? fried my rings? fried my main bearings? Warped the head? Head gasket?

I'll be reaching out tomorrow to some respected shops for their opinion, just wondering what thoughts from the forum?

Default I've only driven it for 10 mins so far

the water level looks fine, I'll go drive it some more and see if the water level drops.

Default Can anyone tell me how to do a pressure test - leak down test?

don't mean to sound like a noob but I've never performed a test like that and I imagine (with some info from the board) I could pick up the test equip at the local auto store and check today.

Default If I've screwed it up bad enough 2.0 + head + big turbo

Question of who I source from and who I use.
Cost obviously is important; however, driveability and reliability are very important also. On top of all this I want something I can run at the track that doesn't get so flippin HOT.

Default If you happen to think about it >

and are inclined when you're talking to them, I'm curious if their big-port head will mate to an AWP block - I've heard differing opinions regarding the number and location of oil taps
Anyway, if you're inclined.
Wish I could help you out on the pressure test info, but that's a Bipes thing - but maybe someone on the Austin Audi forum - Ken or James come to mind.
