Would everyone agree the 225 may have fewer problems vs. the 180 ? or is it too early to tell yet ?

I wouldn't agree. I have most of the problems that I had with my 180 FWD coupe. Faulty fuel sensor, defective turbo bypass valve, crystal pattern in headlamps, interior lights that don't go off, etc. At least the instrument cluster hasn't failed yet.
The good news is that I don't have the biggie, and that's the tranny problem. Hopefully, the service folks will be able to fix most or all of these problems at my upcoming 5,000 mile service.
