Or is everything done from the bottom? I want to put in my heatshield and manifold now but don't feel like crawling under the car until it's warmer.
Should I wait and do them together?
Thanks,
Trent

I did and there is no doubt IMO that it is easier ONLY if you are splicing the coolant .............
hoses together. If you are going to plug the coolant hoses, then it isn't worth it to pull manifold for anything.
Since I was doing both at the same time it definitely helped a little, and ONLY because I was splicing coolant hoses together. It becomes a necessity to pull the IM only if you are also installing an oil pressure gauge IMO.

Thanks, I plan on just plugging the lines but the idea of prepping for a future pressure gauge
interests me. Thinking ultimately of running a oil pressure and temp gauge, just not right now. I have to install the Euro dash, move the Defi-Link controller, buy a Mantis and 2 BF gauges before I get that far. But I plan on getting there eventually so I should do as much of the work that I can now.
