Default Wow, got a very nice personal call from Jim Fikse...

spoke about 15 mins or so about how they couldn't make my wheels. He was apologetic, nice guy and class act but they just can't produce a wheel with sufficient clearance and strength for my car without retooling for use of a larger block core to be milled.

Big bummer.

Default I've run into this before...

I doubt whether their stock forged cores in any of their designs are large enough either.

I may have to check with them, but it is not my first option.

Default yea, so did I, and I thought they were already making them...

I have a few options yet, but if I can get some made, won't have them in time for anything left to go to this season.

:-(

Just really down on the whole wheel issue with this car, it has been a F'n ORDEAL!

Default It is brake clearance...

and offset within the limits of the size of the stock forged core they mill from that is the issue.
