Default Xenon question

Are the Xenons on the S4 different form the ones on the TT. I have noticed that the S4s have this nice blue hue to them. When I check out my TT it doesn't look as blue. Has Audi changed brands?

Lamps have different gas mixtures and hence different burn depth and consistency.

Default Can you change the gases to change to different burn depth? The A6 has more of a purple hint to it.

Default Chamber/Burner/Ballast comes as a set...

... due to packaging and manufacturing requirements being different from car to car.

Default Re: Xenon question - don't do "blue"

FWIW: the "whiter" the lights the better - the "bluer" lights disburse too quickly because of the short light wavelenght. the optimum color is really a nuteral yellow - like the benz driving lights.

Default Blue Xenon is a pain in the UK - same colour as lights on the roof of a police car...

...so as soon as a blue Xenon appears in people's rear view mirror they hit their brakes thus causing a high risk of accidents.

When I was driving home last night on the motorway I saw blue lights approaching on a car in the opposite direction. I had a look as it went past and it was a TTC.
