2008 TT 3.2 MT6 Coupe - Complaints
Just picked up my new TT a few days ago. here is a running list of complaints and nuances that I feel are annoying:
1. Audio Package for $1200 doesnt seem to have any improvement over stock standard radio.
2. iPod integration does not show track title/artist. That to me is a sign of poor engineering. If the SAT can display title info, the radio can display song info and the CD can display MP3 info, then I think the iPod should be able to do the same. Shame on you Audi.
3. At 70-75MPH with spoiler up on highway, Im hearing a low, high pitched whining sound. Its definately wind friction or something but I havent figured it out yet.
4. Received calls only display as "call"! No enhanced callerID but I can access the full phoneboook through the bluetooth menu? Thats just plain sloppy. 2nd shame on you Audi...
5. Has anyone done anything with the eyesore cellular phone prep area in the rear center console? Cover-up? Lid?
Other then that, I love the car. Its my 3rd TT, but my first coupe. Style is sexy and flawless. Engine is adequate, shifting is smooth. seating is sporty. color is gorgeous.

I agree on the Audio upgrade... it's good but it should be AWESOME for that money..
I also agree with the iPod problem but I knew that from the start. I'll be using the Flash memory cards, which will show titles.
I have not heard any noises with the spoiler up. I love seeing that thing deploy when I hit 130km/h.
I agree with you re. shame on Audi... they should have done better and I'm sure the 09's will have a better system. life sucks but eh... you have a cool car...

Here's mine
The Bose does suck as it is not a noticeable upgrade. I am glad I saved the $1000 for some real speakers and an amp.<ul><li><a href="http://s116.photobucket.com/albums/o30/2fast_TDCi/Baby/">Ocean Blue 3.2</a></li></ul>
