2008 TT info display question

hello guys. new to the forum...
just purchased 2008 tt 2.ot
left over inventory..so it is technically brand new..
anyway..

info display in between speedometer & tachometer...i notice that there is a black line..as can see it on the picture...

do you all have that? or is it just me that i need to get it serviced??? i was at the audi service for this issue..& they say every car is like that..but they will say anything to avoid a trouble..so..

i have an 09 and don't have that line, does that line of lights work on other screens? I'm thinking it's broken

thats what i think also..that doesn't look normal..
but the audi service has said every tt is like that..
so i need to try different dealer..i guess.

my TT 08 2.0L doesn't have that line either.
you might need to get second opinion from others dealer

i have an 08 3.2. and that shouldn't be there. in fact, mine was fine until yesterday when the black line appeared. i'm bringing it in.

Mine was like that from day 1. I inquired about it at the dealer, and we looked at another TT and it was the same way.

Its really hard to see unless you are in the config menus.

i got the same answer after i took it in. they looked at few other TTs and saw it too. apparently other owners have noticed it, but i got a new console and it still had it. they agreed that it was strange...so, it is minor and a little of annoyance especially when it wasn't there initially and you pay lots for this car. on the positive side, the car drives and runs awesome, looks fantastic and really fun to drive.
