Default TT-S drives very, very well!

Just got our first one in so I had to go check it out. the suspension is very well sorted. some will want more, but it's really not all that needed for most. it has a very nice, quick turn in and holds it's line very well w/o feeling like it wants to instantly plow. also feels like you could get some rotation if you wanted. the engine is of course laggier than the base car but no way in hell enough to deter someone from getting it. the pull is very nice w/ plenty of torque thru the rev range. the launch control of course is fun but could be higher than the 3k range it holds it at. unlike in the base car, the bigger turbo needs more revs to keep it from falling a bit on its face when the clutch hooks up. it's only a smidge of lag until it pulls hard though. then the shifts hit hard enough to make the *** dip w/ each uptake. all in all this is a VERY cool car. some of you are very lucky!

Default It actually does. It has the tinyest of bog and then just gets AFTER IT!

the shifts make up any loss at the light. a stock S4 4.2 that was broken in would do 5.1 0-60 on my G-tech. my friends w/ high flow cats & dps, full exhaust, intake, GIAC on 91 would do 4.9. So if we get a broken in TT-S i'll run it at the exact place i ran the S4.

Default cool, wish I could get one and then chip it..

chipped should help get rid of some of the turbo lag I would think and then a 4.5 or better.

Default dropping 4 tenths under 5 is not easy.

I dont see that happening with a chip. Even an exgressive chip might get to 290hp, and a better boost in torque. I dont see that moving this car into the 4.5 0-60 range. Maybe a tenth improvement.

Default Only a tenth with a chip? I would think better than that....

The K04 turbo on the 225 1.8T did better than that and with a bigger S3 K04 on a 2.0T with a better compression I would think atleast 3 to 4 tenths off stock time. The dif between stock and chip on the 1.8T K04 was like 50+ HP.

Default Yes but this car is already at 17psi.....stock. might not be much more left for K04

what would really drop 0-60 would be the launch. raise it to 5k and you'll see .2 right there!

Default with chip it will be 20 to 22 psi easy...

I think my K03 peaks at 21 or something like that and settles at 18 so K04 will be 20s easy and should get an extra 40 50 HP with the chip. And that should help the lag a bit.
