was wanting to know if anyone knows if the measurements for the mk2 and mk3 adaptive spoiler are the same, have called 2 dealerships/parts departments and no one can give me an answer as to whether they are the same size/shape? Wanted to get a certain after market fixed/adaptive spoiler for one I'm going to purchase soon. And would like to know. Thanks any and all for help.

No is the simple answer. Just looking at the rear profile on both cars tells you the wing design is different. However, what I suspect you want to know is if the measurements associated with the lift mechanism is the same for both models since I assume that there is where an aftermarket wing would be mounted. Again, without actually measuring, I would say highly unlikely

Personal preference. For me, it is rice. However, there is an old thread here about fixed versus deployable wing for the TTRS and the results were about 50-50, with the deployable proponents saying the fixed was rice. Do what pleases you. If you wanted to follow the crowd, you would have never bought a TT.

Yeah, I'm still up in the air about it. Dunno if going for something like that. Or just the lip spoiler add on to the rear/deployable wing. Thanks for your thoughts, and you got a fair point about going with a tt, lol.
