I've just bought a 2018 MK3 TT 180HP with 10'KM on it. I bought it unseen from a dealer and to my surprise it contains the most basic Audi MMI Radio (Euro spec) with part no: 8S0035028. According to Audi Sweden I'm unable to get it retrofitted with Carplay. So i've looked into other possibilites to be able to get some navigation in the virtual cockpit with no luck. Tonight I got the main unit out from the glovebox and I can see on the label it looks like it has Bluetooth, Dolby and other things, but it is not activated in the menus. It has both yellow (USB) and blue (GPS) connections, from what I have read?
Is there really not any retrofit to be made to this unit? Would really appreciate some help and guidance.
