I met the guy responsible for the launch of these parts in the US on an ACNA conference call last year and later corresponded with him by email. He said that they would be launched late Q2 18 in the US so my money is late May.

This is good news since I am due to receive the TT RS in Aug. Question, if I have a order for the TT RS Aug does that mean I would get the 2019?

Background, currently stationed overseas in Japan. Ordering the TT RS via military auto sales. Due to return to the states in Aug, therefore it is my choice to receive the car at this time.

The 2019 models for Audi will probably start rolling into dealerships around August 1st if history is any indication. If I wanted a 19, I would hold off on my order for a few months to make sure.

I am not hearing there are many changes with the 19, so it does not matter to me any. This is good to know anyway.

The plant closes in August so likely a 2018.

You are correct, received a response from the dealer and she stated it will be a 2018. I am happy with this. I am glad to hear the performance parts will be available, or hope to be available when I receive the car in Aug.

Has anyone managed to order any of these parts in the US yet? One of my local dealers has an allocation for a TT-RS for end of the month, I'm going to be going in to place an order soon and would love all the exterior carbon bits - minus the hood scoop.

Rumor states in May, but when I contacted the dealership they did not even know what performance parts were for the Audi TT RS. How does a dealership not even know about the parts they sale. Still following. Would like to add these parts when I pick my car up in Aug.

i do want that spoiler. I emailed audi. they responded with little info. I don't think audi usa has any idea.
