Default Burger JB1 vs JB4

I am getting close to ordering a Burger kit for my 2016 TTS. Any pro or cons, or other information from those who have one, would be appreciated. If I'm not going to do any other performance mods is there a significant advantage to using the JB4 over the JB1?

Well, certainly Burger King is pretty well-known for their burgers. I'd say Wendy's comes in a close second.

JB4>JB1... but JB4 gives you the ability to follow more metrics giving you the ability to better tune your map. Just buy JB4 and you’ll be better off when you want to go deeper down the rabbit hole...which you likely will if you’re asking this question today. Other adds you may want to consider is the bluetooth module so you can use your smart device to make changes on the fly and be able to use the fantastic BMS app.

Burger King does facilitate more tuning, to make it your way, than does Wendy's.

I'm considering JB1 as adequate for my needs (well, desires) but BRKNJMPR makes a good point regarding JB4 App integration and greater tuning customization.

JeffC, you may want to also post on Audizine.com as more of a modding community and existing threads on this subject.

Thanks Huey. I'll check it out. Been looking at VWvortex, too.

Look at mk7golf forum, hundreds of pages. Remember you’re talking about saving $50 bucks. One gives zero options, one lets you go crazy. I’m doing JB4 in the next few months, never considered the 1. JB4 gives a basic turnkey map you can start with so no worries about getting in over your head.
Also know George Smooth won’t help you if you buy used, and he’s a huge asset, vendor of the decade imho. Buy new.
