Hey guys, I'm coming up on my 40k service but trying to figure out whether or not this needs to include a Haldex oil change service.

My local dealer says it should have been done at 30k so it won't be included in the 40k service. Here are the records I found from the previous owner who had the 30k service done:

Services Performed:

30K Maintenance
Brake Flush
Cabin Filter Replacement
Differential Fluid Flush
Engine Oil
Oil Filter Replacement
Other Oil/Fluids
Tire Accessories
Tire Replacement
Wheel Alignment
Wheel Balance
Others

Question: the highlighted Differential Service listed above - do you think this includes the Haldex service?



Below is what's listed on the 40K service recommendations, I'm just trying to figure out whether or not Haldex needs to be added to the list.

Standard Maintenance Service

Brake fluid: Replace
Every 2 years regardless of mileage

DSG/S tronic: Change ATF oil and replace transmission filter element
Perform first at 40,000 miles and thereafter every 40,000 miles.

Dust and pollen filter: Replace
First at 20,000 miles or two years, whichever occurs first. Thereafter, every 20,000 miles or two years, whichever occurs first.

Spark plugs: Replace
Perform first at 40,000 miles or 6 years, whichever occurs first. Thereafter, every 40,000 miles or 6 years, whichever occurs first.

I would have assumed the ‘Differential” Service would include the Haldex. On a side note, I did Haldex at 30K km and it was pretty dirty.

I had my Haldex oil changed last service (30,000 miles) I also had the Haldex filter cleaned at the same time.
