Default For those with TTs that lost Google Earth satellite imagery...

MMI version 1389 fixes that problem, although you do need to still pay for the subscription. You'll get Maxar satellite maps rather than Google Earth. They're not quite as good, but close enough.

Let me know if anyone needs a link where they can download this version for about $35.

Sorry, I didn't see the prior comments. I do recommend that you contact the company first to ensure it's compatible with your car, or perhaps he has a version that is compatible. This version has worked flawlessly for me.

As a side note, I complained to Audi and they gave me 6 months free service (since I paid for 6 months without receiving any benefit).

Don't know if it's the same over there as in the UK but you don't need Audi Connect to get the maps from the updated service.

As long as the car has a data connection (I use my phone as a wifi hotspot) and you have updated firmware, you will get the satellite overlay.
