No, you cannot.
Just out of curiosity, what have you got against the default location?

On machines that have only one hard drive, I create separate dedicated partitions
My everyday laptop I do dev work on is the same I run your software on.
WinXP OS (C *OS only*
Programs (E *installed programs only, iis, apache, mssql server, mysql*
Data (F *working/log directories for apache and inetpub sites, database files/logs directory, download directory, My Documents, etc.
VCDS is installed in E:\Ross-Tech\
In my setup, VCDS autoscan log files are log files being saved on my Programs partition. Your app is the only app I can recall that does not give you the flexibilty to change location for log file directory, or a 'save as' capability.
No biggie. Just something I think about every time I open up old VCDS autoscan log files for my car.
The way I partition my machine is actually common with other dev folk I know. On home desktop machines, I currently run two hard drives -- first drive separate partitions for my OS and Programs, second drive dedicated to Data and Windows paging files.
