Disable TPMS in 2007 A6
I tried to serach but really did not see a definative answer if it is possible to disable the TPMS for winter tires. Would it be difficult to turn it on in Spring. I saw a post to disable, pull a fuse etc. Is that really necessary. Ray

Uncheck it in the Gateway Coding and post the result. You may indeed have to pull a fuse or disconnect the module as well.

Uwe, have you heard of anyone who has actually done this? Or is it all just theory? I don't have a VAG-COM but was looking to find someone to help.
I've done a lot of searching (here and elsewhere) and have found lots of people talking about it but nobody who has reported back "Yes I did it!". Just wondering if it can indeed be done or not?

It's something to try. I don't have a confirmed working procedure to disable TPMS in that car.
We have a 2005 A6, but it never had TPMS, so we can't test it there.

OK, thanks, Uwe. I've gone back and deleted my reference.
(It's too bad the procedure can't be used.)
