Default Measuring blocks not available on EDC17 ecu equipped cars

I've noticed that measuring blocks are not available on those cars, anyone know something about this "issue"?

Thx in advance

Year? Make? Model? Engine Code? Auto-Scan?

There is no general issue with measuring values on EDC17 ECUs, but depending on the exact vehicle you are having there its possible we are missing sth.

I did not try autoscan, but measuring blocks remains gray.

The reason I asked for the Auto-Scan was because I'd like to double check if the control module in question is covered by VCDS with all necessary data to actually give you some measuring values.

In this case measuring values are not supported by VCDS Release 805, since your ECU uses the new UDS/ODX protocol I suggest you try VCDS Beta 812 instead.
