Hi all thanks in advance for any advice. I have a 2006 Audi A8 4.2. So my problem is that the cars obd2 will not establish communication, it does have power to the port just wont link. Ive used this same scanner before and it worked fine. I DO NOT have an aftermarket stereo. The fuses are fine. No check engine light issues. Anyways after alot of reasearch and no luck unplugging modules i finally took it ti the Audi dealership. They actually ARE able to connect using audi scan tool. But when trying to smog check it will not connect. I need to pass smog in 2 weeks. The dealer is is still trying to see what could be wrong, theyve had the car for almost 2 weeks now. Anyone have this issue or similar? Any clues would help...
