recode transmission type?
Hello!
Sorry if this is in a FAQ, but I tried to search Audiworld and the ross-tech site. I could only find how to change the transmission shifting programs....
Can anyone tell me how to verify which transmission type the ECU has been programmed to with vag-com?
My ecu was repaired by the company that chipped it. Now when I shift from park to D, the car kind of lunges forward a little. It also seems to over-rev and shift late once in awhile. Do you think the transmission type could be programmed as a manual? I have an A4 1.8T Tip.
