Weird groaning noise as turbo spools up 3200-3500 rpm
Just had my 40000 mile service 2000 miles ago. This past weekend I went on a weekend trip. I noticed when passing that the turbo would make a weird groaning noise shortly after spooling up about 80mph. Thought it was weird but then driving to work I heard it after every gear about 3400 rpm. If I drive like a grandpa it does not make the noise. If I give it more than usual it make the noise. I pulled these codes:
VAG-COM Version: Release 404.0-US
Control Module Part Number: 4B0 906 018 CH
Component and/or Version: 1.8L R4/5VT G 0001
Software Coding: 16201
Work Shop Code: WSC 02305
4 Faults Found:
16684 - Random/Multiple Cylinder Misfire Detected
P0300 - 35-00 - -
16685 - Cylinder 1 Misfire Detected
P0301 - 35-00 - -
16687 - Cylinder 3 Misfire Detected
P0303 - 35-00 - -
16686 - Cylinder 2 Misfire Detected
P0302 - 35-00 - -
Also, anyone know why I had to go to the engine module to see these and the auto scan did not pick them up? I am taking it to the dealership Monday so I don't want to clear the codes. Any help would be great. I want to make sure the dealership gets it as I am almost out of warranty. It is chipped (x-chip) with TT BPV. Thanks!
Forgot one thing. Just switched to synthetic if that makes a difference.

Well, I think it might be my BPV after doing quite a few searches. Hopefully it is not a leaky hose. I think I might pick up a new BPV and see if that fixes the issue. Anyone agree?
