18x9 ET 41 with 225/40 -18 on a B6??? Is this possible???

it is possible but a 225/40 /18 is too narrow a tire for a 9" wide rim
The tire would look way stretched.
Also an offset of 41 would have the wheels/tires tucked deep within the wheel well.
35-30 would be an ideal offset on the B6.

225/40R18 will fit a 9" wheel, but is a bad idea for a B6 A4 as it is short in height and load capacity. Many also feel that the tire looks too stretched out on the wheel to the point where it looks very odd, and does not provide much, if any, protection from curbing.
Far better to buy a wheel that is the proper fit, there are many choices out that will fit the B6 A4.
