Default 2009 A4 (B8): 16 or 17" winter?

The FWD A4 has 16" tires, is the quattro one exactly the same? I'm wondering if I should go with 16 or 17" winter. Any wheels recommendations as well? I need snow & ice tires since I live in the city. Not just the pure snow stuff.

I'm in Canada but will order from the US since the CDN$ is so high... tirerack is my best bet I guess?

Offsets will vary depending on the wheel width and spoke pattern for brake clearances. Our site will narrow the search only to those that fit properly.

Does that take into consideration the new center bore is now 66.56mm instead of the 5x.xx it was before ?

Sweet.

Does anyone knows which one of the cheapo wheels on tirerack look nice on an a4 ? Sure, they've got the "click here to see the wheel on the car" but seeing it in person isn't the same thing..

for the 500 more bucks for the set, might as well get light nice looking wheels...that have resale as a perk too.
