Default Changing Tires and I have run out of swear words Please Help!!

I have a 1999 A4 Avant. I'm changing to winter tires and I am having trouble removing the wheels. After removal of the lug nuts the wheel will not come off.

HELP!!!

Default get a rubber mallet...

typical problem in some regions. just give it a few good whacks with a rubber mallet. In extreme cases, it may help to kick the tires. At least it made me feel better...

After you get them off try using som anti-seize compound on the area of the wheel that makes contact before you reinstall. I had the same problem too. I gou mine off by kicking the tire a few times, but not hard enough to knock it off the jack!

coat the surfaces with lubriplate, they won't rust together!

Default 2 tricks that have never failed

1. loosen the lugs, then let the car back down to the ground

2. if that fails, with the car on the ground, drive a couple of feet and slam on the brakes

after that, be sure to use anti seize.
