How to prep calipers for painting? Advise needed

I just purchased a can of POR-20 Hi Temp (1400 deg) bright aluminum paint for my brake calipers on my Aluminum Silver 2.8. I'm going to use a brush but I need advise on how to prep? Do you recommend sanding, wire brushing, chemical cleaning? I will NOT be removing the calipers I want to paint in place.

Here is how I did it:

I used brake cleaner to soak the calipers, a wire brush and a toothbrush to thoroughly remove all dirt and brake dust from the calipers, then tape off and cover all parts you dont want painted and then shoot!
