need a recommendation for tires..
18x8 BBS RGR (purchased from achtuning).. i need a recommendation on tires, as well as tire size i should go with. tirerack says 235/40 is the best, but i'd like to hear what you guys say. as you can see from my signature i have an a6, which may change what you recommend.

The more you can tell us about your needs the better we can assist.
As you already know we'd suggest 235/40R18. For the best recommendation and input from other members, let us know more about what you're looking for, driving style and conditions.

Check out Dunlop 9000s, Pzero Rosso, and Contact 2 for more comfort in performance tires.
If you're willing to trade off some comfort for better handling, check out Goodyear GSD3, or even firmer ride, the Michelin Pilot Sport PS2.<ul><li><a href="http://www.tirerack.com/a.jsp?a=AR8&url=/tires/index.jsp">Tires</a></li></ul>
