New to the forums! - 80 V6 owner
G'day guys,
Just thought I'd join the forums here as there seems to be a lot of activity and information!
Anyway just going to briefly introduce myself, I'm a 21 year old student and I've had my Audi 80 (2.6) for a year and a half now. This is my second Audi 80 and first 12v.
It's had it's list of problems over time, from the simple fuel/temperature gauges not working (that all 80/90's have) to the thermostat being destroyed and even oil leaks (oil pressure sensor) - At least I know what to look out for now.
The last two main problems with it are the rear suspension has sagged and it needs a new heater core but that's a one day job..
The only real things that I've "modded" are the lights to be 5000k/4000k and the Interior lights to be LED's (eBay ones), as well as the instrument cluster LED's and the numberplate lights are now LED's too.
Recently I've worked on the intake and cleaned it all up/replaced the actual manifold as the other was over-torqued and most of the screws in the top half were ruined as well.. (massive intake leak..) Just going through the last few bits and pieces before it's ready to be started again.
Don't know what else to say, I feel that my brief intro has carried onto the story of my 12v haha.
Out of curiosity are there any other Australians on here?

welcome to the club i got the same front bumper on my b4 as you)) all the problems you listed are fairly simple fixes non working fuel/temp gauges inop, you need to replace a resistor on the cluster (IIRC) but search the b3/b4 forum for more details

I was saying that I fixed it with the Sandpaper fix!
I don't mind the bumper, but I'd rather a big RS2/S2 one
