anyone have problems with ramps into shopping plazas causing curbing?
seems a lot of the entrance ramps into shopping plazas have a .5"-1.5" mini "curb" before the ramp starts. they're freaking me out since 225/35 on an 8.5" rim leaves the rim lip vulernable, especially when the wheel is sharply turned. accordingly, i've been making really wide turns on approach so that i can get as perpendicular as possible to the mini-curb, but i think my behavior is confusing the locals. am i being paranoid?

although i long stopped caring, tire/wheels have never been an issue for me
rash is almost always operator error no matter now low profile or now stretched your tires are.
i'm also on 225/35 x 8.5w but *hangs head* all my lip rash/damage is self inflicted.
ride height is more of a problem then wheels. unsolicited pulled fenders, uneven roads, stuck on speed bumps are just some of my problems.
