How often do you have your tires rotated?

Fair assumption, but nope. Audicare doesn't cover tire rotations. So unless you ask the dealer to throw them in (at the time of Q5 or AC purchase), or the dealer does it as a courtesy, you pay up like MP6.0+4.2 and xfirechief said. I get numerous free tire rotation (without balancing) coupons from Big-O Tire. Generally rotate every 10,000 miles. And FWIW, I do see the Big-O guys get out their torque wrench to finish the job. Nice touch to minimize potential brake rotor warping.

Never for me.........
I have owned 3 Audis, 2 - A4's, and now the Q5. My take is that if the tires are extremely well balanced thus not producing any bouncing, shimming, or wandering, thus pleasureable ride/steering, why touch them.
I have used many different models of tires from Michelin, Continental, and Bridgestone and they all wore evenly, and at end of life still no bounce, shimmy, or wandering. Yes the outside edge of the front tires will wear a little more due to steering, but at end of life center tread gone, the front tire outer edge still was there.
When I bring home my new vehicle the first day. I mark each rim, with it's matching lug bolt hole (so if I do remove it goes back on in the exact same position). I also coat that day the wheel to hub spindle with anti-seize or if you don't and you live in snow/salt country you will need to pound your wheel off with a sledge hammer and 2x4 to remove them after a year. I also use a torque wrench in 25 ft-lbs increments to tighten the lug bolts as that helps prevent distorting the rotors.
When I had my first Q5 5K service I told the service manger don't even think of rotating the tires..........

You should just keep an eye on them and rotate when they need it. In my all-wheel-drive vehicles, they seem to wear pretty evenly. I'll usually rotate them once in their lifetime, but I always get soft compound tires for their grip, so that's usually around the 10K to 12K mile mark...usually when I notice the tread wear on the outside of the fronts.

I need to review the Audi Maintenance manual again, but I do not think there is a requirement to rotate the tires except during the first 5000 miles.
My local tire shop will not touch the wheels on my wife's Audi, so I will not be rotating them.
My wife's previous RWD Infiniti had mismatch front and rears, so they never got rotated either.
Get yourself a good set of tires and let them ride.
