Default having trouble finding the right part for the stereo

Hello! I recently puchased a 2010 audi s4

However im having a nightmare of a time buying incorrect parts to try and get something that will convert my glove box (what appears to be an old iphone plug?) to something like an aux or mini usb. My main goal is to play music from my phone (samsung note 4) in my car stereo. Apparently you cant play it on blue tooth and ive already wasted money on incorrect converters. What is everyone doing with these cars? or does audi only work with apple products?

Thank alot guys i really appreciate these forums and yous awesome help!

2 options that are easy. #1) Audi makes a number of cables to fit into the receptacle in the glove compartment. You can get one that plugs directly into the back of your phone. Check this out: Audi Parts - Audi Genuine Parts & Accessories eStore.
#2) I use a Tune2 air. Plugs into the standared 30 pin cable that comes with the car. With the Tune2air, you can stream from your phone , Pandora, your music and other apps. Costs about $80. FYI there have been some problems with the Tune2 air and skipping. But For me ,that works best. No need to actually connect your phone to the cable in the glove compartment. But you do have to plug the Tune2air into a 30 pin cable. If your phone ueses other than the 30 pin connector, you can still get a Tune2air for android useage.
