Help with Noises
Hello. I am new to Audi. Just purchased an 2011 S4 P+, with Sport Diff and 50k miles. KW Coilovers, Rear Eurocode sway bar, AWE Exhaust and Forgestar F14 wheels (19x10 et41) if this helps with the diagnosis. Engine is stock for now, under CPO still.
I noticed 2 sounds the other day. =
1. You can hear it through all gears. It's the sound of a faint whine. I know our cars have Superchargers, and this may be the case here. But I also wondered if it could be the DSG making that noise (hopefully not).
Here is a video, you can barely hear it in the video. You can hear it around the 20-28 and then again at the 37-45 sec mark.
2. The other noise is a slight vibration during slow, sharper turns, or parking using the steering wheel. It seems like its a mechanical function of the AWD, but I can't be sure. Maybe it has something to do with Coilovers/Wheels and the car being lower?
Let me know if this is normal on these cars. Thank you!

Too early and preggo is still sleeping to listen to the video.
But the low speed sharp turn "issue" you're referring to is what any AWD will do. Its called scrubbing. Your rear tires are pushing forward while your front tires are trying to turn. Which scrubs the tires against the road a bit. Nothing to worry about there.
