HELP changed axle and car bounces
Hey guys this is my first post here, so ill get it started
I recently picked up a 01.5 s4 and the front passenger cv joint went so i ordered a new cv axle off of ecstuning. After waiting a week to get it i put it in this morning and also lowered the car to the lowest setting(adjustable coilovers) and then took it for a test drive. The car now hops as if the front right tire is a square, any ideas on what would be causing this? any input would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Sounds like something isn't seated. If everything looks okay, raise the car back up and go of another test drive.
Also make sure the new cv axle articulates freely.

Okay ill drive it back up the ramps and take the tire off, I cant see lowering the coilovers to cause such a bounce in the car, like even at speeds of 5kms it hops like crazy

Okay so i raised it up and kept the tire on, it seems as when i rotate the tire it gets to a point where it becomes harder to spin and the suspension goes up with it and then goes back down, im guessing thats what is causing the bouncing, any ideas why the suspension is moving while the tire does?

At first thought, it sounds like your new axle is locked up.
I hate to say this, but without seeing it, I'd remove the axle bolt (you'll need to get a new one) and push the axle out the spindle and spin the wheel. You may need a second person to push the joint out of the spindle to disengage the spines while you turn it. If it rotates freely, then you may have gotten a bad one right out of the box.
Also, If it bounces that bad that slowly, I agree its probably not the ride height.
