Building a 2.0L.....20v head or 16v head?
My winter project is to build a 2.0L with a ABA block and 92.8 mm crank. Of course it will still be boosted (GT3076) My goal is 400 hp and a flat torque curve but should I use a 20 valve head or the 16 valve head?
Unless I find a way to tune the ME7.1 before I get the engine and turbo pakage together, I'll be going stand alone.
So what's your take guys?
Chas

I just picked up a MS kit
and with the options (fuel and spark), it was a hair under $400, for the unassembled version. Plan on spending an additional $100 or so for an assembled one.
It's not together yet, still waiting for my soldering iron to show up (gotta get new tools, right?)
I'll be posting updates once it's together and running.

Dahlback has 3-4 chips that will cover your 400hp goal. No one else offers that much xcept him
Call Northern European Automotive, Tim did the work on at least 2 of the chips when he was the US distributor and they work very well. I got 420whp from my 2L. I am now running 034efi. Tim is still a dealer and the one I would go to for Dahlback SW. Beleive me, standalone is a MUCH greater pain in the *** altho you have ultimate flexibility. No more power than you are looking for would be well done with a chip alone.
