Couple Newb questions

I am buying an 04 2.7 Allroad and wanted to see what Octane people are using as well as oil. I think the service report says 5w-40 every 10k miles or something but I might be wrong.

Anyone have any insight?

I think your right on regarding the oil. Use 91,93 or better (if you can).

oil is good. highest octane you can find.
