Oil Leaks under the engine. Cam Seals ???
I have small oil leaks under my 2000 A6 2.7t
I already had both valve cover gaskets, but I still see spots on my driveway. JUST SMALL DROPS OF OIL. What could it be? Cam Seals???
Perhaps something else?
How much are these to replace? Does few hundred bucks (*like $800-900) sounds resonable or is that way too much?
LMK.
Can I still drive like that since the oil leak is so small???

Same issue with my '01 2.7T
Just a few drops a day, right at the front of engine, i took the belly pan off and sparyed brake clean all over to remove oil biuld up. Local dealer says valve cover gaskets and timing belt tensioner seal.....to start, but their not 100%.

usually cam seals; yes, you can drive with it, until it gets worse and blows oil
all over the place.
cam seals are a DIY and are a 5 hour job if I'm doing it, and I'm slooooowwwwww. That $800 is too much, period.
