Checking out sources for new battery for 1998 A8-D2
Checking my battery as it's been setting a while...waiting for parts & new RT usb hex-can. With the cold weather in unheated garage...etc...the battery charge quickly drains.
I checked in person & online many places for availability, specs, life expendency & price.
from AutoZone (AZO), Advanced Auto (AAP), O'Reilly (ORLY), BatteriesPlus+, Walmart & Sam's Wholesale... for the specs, life coverage & price...
Sam's @ $74.88 + sales tax + core. Model:1129-A Group size 65 850cca/1000ca mgf: Exide 36/96 (3 year full replacement/5 year prorated).
Walmart was close (somewhat to be expected...) others were available, good 18/74 months to 24/84 months...& ranging from $110 to $240...!!!
