Default 30v 2.8 quattro( 5spd) owners. "shifter movement during accel, and hesitation at like 5000 rpm.

Any of you all experiance this?

1. The shifter kinda moves around a little when you accelerate?

2. In higer RPM (5000 +/-) Im guessing it opens the 3rd intake valve? Cause it hesitates for a second. I think its in 2nd gear where I last noticed it

Car has done this as long as I can remeber, just thought about it and asking if anyone else's car does this?

Default I don't get too much noticable stick movement...

and my car kicks into high flow around 4500, no slow downs at all. Actually my bud w/ an s4 says it's wierd because it puts your head back a lil bit. I think they're all diff, depending on how they're driven over the life. eg: granny's old beautiful cutlass gets bought, and has no muscle because the carb has never seen that angle before. )

I don't experience what you describe. My 2.8 is running great.

Default Hmmm

Could be that when I dont rev it too much for a long period of time it does it, because it did not do it last couple of times I punched it. Weird. Maybe that fuel cleaner I put through it a few days ago cleared a jam in my injectors or something.

Feels fine now.

Default Get an AWE Drive Train Stabilizer (DTS)

I have one on my 2.8 and it took a lot of slop out of the driveline and shifter.
