Default Anyone know of a good shop in NJ for replacing a clutch?
the dealer is asking for $2300 for a clutch, pressure plate, bolt, bearing and labor.

Default C&G in verona might be better......
I dont trust anybody with my car so I do all of my own work.... sometimes with the help of my vw tech friends. Cant trust anybody these days.

REAL easy to get there. 287 south to 404, over the bridge, staten expressway to exit. Guys are serious. Get all my work done there, flawless work + the guys are cool and realtivly cheap. I travel from bergen county NJ to these guys. They have my total trust. They created a wicked supercharger kit for my friends 4cyl galant. check pic. Default That's the highest price I have seen quoted for this job.
Most dealers will do it for ~$1500. Most indepedent shops can do it for a few hundred less.

Default got mine done at a shop in montclair....flywheel and clutch
Labor was 900, cheap for what they have to do

Default Try George & Jack's on Crooks Avenue in Clifton
They are great with Audis and have decent prices if you are in the northern NJ area. Drawback: Need an appointment!!
