This happened to me...
They do claim that they are not liable to damages...but I specifically asked if they would scratch my rims and they said no. They ended up giving me a free detail. There is not much more you can do but go in and threaten them. That's what I did. Take them to court and raise hell if you got the time. You will be fully self-satisfied once you are done. =)

They can be taking to a shop and be touched up with paint, since the rims are a painted coating...
Someone on the forum has done this already with these tires, its just a matter of finding a shop. Your Audi dealer will know of a good shop in the area, have discussed it with them and its where they send all their Porsche and Audi tires, so will look into it when the tires change

Damage Rims @ Car Wash
I own a 200118TQM w/sport package, and one of the rims was significantly scratched on most spokes. It most likely is from the tracks within the car wash. Has anyone else experienced such luck at a auto-car wash? Also, the attendent refused to allow me to put the car on the rack to see if the scrath marks line up per the height of the rim. He also pointed me to a sign that says "not responsible for damage". I believe they may still be liable; small claims court is the next stop.
I know that the track caused the scratches. Rim is most likely ruined, especially when winter comes around.

Check out the tech section of VW vortex - there's a place in bath, PA that repairs rims
