it will work fine with the 1.8t tranny if he really wanted to go that route, no reason to need to swap in an entire S4 drivetrain.
if he went with standalone engine managment instead of trying to wire in the S4 ECU it would be a LOT easier!!

No, make no mistake, guys, I know it will be a sh$tpile of work, I have no misconceptions..
I know it is not a "complete bolt-up job", I know--but it does actuallyu all bolt in, provided you have "everything"---and I'm not sure I'm goign to get EVERYTHING I would need...

I think it is funny anyone would think it was an improvement, an A4 will EAT an s4 on the track
Even with less hp, no contest if running a well tuned BT car and susp. mods..
