Default Friggin H&R :P

I was just about to get the A4 coilovers....and THEN i find out that they bumped up the spring rate and just made one A4/S4 coilover. They bumped up the springrate by about 150 lbs? dammit...i wanted the softer springs because this is my daily driver. U guys got any suggestions? should i just get the stiffer CO's or get the koni's or what. How's the ride on the S4 CO's? How about the Koni's? i dunno what to do. arg...thanks guys

Check AWE or others... they might have some of the old ones in stock, if this change was recent.

Default Having been lucky enough to snag a pair of the H&R A4 Coils last month...

at least, I think they are the A4 specific ones, in fact, they are supposed to be A4 Avant specific. I am quite happy with them, and even mine tend to be a bit stiff and sensitive over harsher roads, but a lot of that may be due to the 18" wheels and 40 series tires. I took a ride in an H&R S4 C/O equiped A4 a few weeks back, and didn't notice to much of a difference. The ride is a bit firmer, but not overly punishing. Not much different from mine at all. Although, he did only have 16" wheels on at the time.

But yeah, get the correct part number, and call around, some places may still have a few in stock. Good luck.

Default Having been the first guy to do the s4 c/o (he he) they are just fine. No worries

This is my daily commute car and with 17" wheels and I'm fine with it. If it were a city car, might feel a little bit different.
