Default just put your key in the ignition... turn to the accessory position

and wait two minutes. No need for a vag

I've been doing that, but a tuning company said it needs to be done w/ a VAG b/c it threw a code.

I believe it's "Basic Settings"...enter "060"...click "go".

Default I think you misunderstood them...slightly...

Running the throttle adaptation will clear some values stored in memory in the ECU...so there is probably a good reason they asked you to do this.

Additionally, I would also go to the engine section, and hit "clear fault codes"...even if no codes are present. That should give you a fresh start.

Default I had to send my ECU to them to fix something. They said they cleared all the codes except this one

b/c they needed the actual car to be able to fix it. Told me to go to a mechanic and tell them to do it w/ a VAG. But then again, I don't believe a lot of what they say anyway.

Thanks for the info!

Go to measuring block 060, switch to basic setting and let it run, then switch back.
