how do you set the over speed alarm on our car?

Re: how do you set the over speed alarm on our car?
If i remember correctly, with the key in the ignition (but off), you press the left **** thing (may be the right one). You should see the graph for the speed2 in the display. Then use the trip computer switch on the wiper stalk to increase or decrease the speed you want to set. THis is for the limit that's always there. For the temporary one, just press the same button (on the dash) at the desired speed.
HOpe this helps.
BTW, this is all from memory. I can check later, if this doesn't work.

Correct, it's the left test button. Press it breifly. The alarm will go off at 6 miles(10 km)...
...per hour above what you set. The second permanent alarm will not go out until your road speed falls below the set value. To cancel on the fly limit alarm, hold the button in for over 2 seconds while ignition is on. For the permanent speed limit, have ignition off, press button briefly & then hold button for two seconds.
