I checked out Michael B's PES supercharged 2.8----1st impression(short)
I examined & rode in Mike's car today. My take: excellent planning, execution, & installation of supercharger unit. Performance is impressive; calm @ low throttle, power comes on in a strong, smooth& steady flow thru high rpm (over 6K), & past 100 mph. Responds well in all gears. Overall impression: superior product, with high level of quality & attention to detail, & excellent performance. BTW, Mike & I are not a "mutual admiration society", just a couple of enthusiasts who enjoy seeing high quality cars & equip.upgrades!

I was hoping to hear that you at least stopwatched some acceleration runs
When might this happen? I don't think you've posted these yet. The consensus guess is 0-60 around 5.2-5.4, I think; it would be great if you'd shed some rough times on this subject. Thanks.

Not so sure I'll be doing that...
I really don't want to do 0-60 runs in my car. To get a good launch without smoking the front tires with my fwd, I'd need lots of clutch slippage. I just don't want to hack on my car like that. Although, I'd be more than happy to do rolling start acceleration times, or 70-100, etc. <p>For the 0-60 times, let's wait for the first PES Quattros. I know that there are kits on order and PES is shipping next week or so. Therefore, everyone should be getting some more feedback in a short time.
