I just wanna say...
Thanks for everyone's knowledge and support. This forum/website is the best for questions and concerns and all other things.. =) Since I bought my 99 a4 1.8t Frontrak in 2002 I've been able to do most of my upgrades myself due to this site. Rear and front brakes pads and rotors, all 8 front control arm, timing belt and tension pulley, headlight mods and ignition control module. Granted some fixes don't require a ton of know how but this site has made it that much easier to do.
I know Audi has its problem but there is always someone out there willing to help. This makes me want to get another Audi for my next vehicle because i know if there is a problem yo audiworld.com will solve it. just check out the hook while... well you know how it goes.
its time to upgrade to a big boy ride. 2006 A6?
In the meantime. i've got to replace both side view mirror glass cuz the mirror part is starting to peel off and the control module for the airbags. any suggestion of a site for the control module? Ebay for sure.
