I think I might have a big problem with my car.
I've had this coolant leak for about 2 weeks now. I have to top it off every 3-4 days. I fill it up to Max and it falls just below minimum before I fill it back up. I just recently did my timing belt not to long ago and thats when I started getting this leak. Today I decided to start and try to trace down the leak and as I was taking my intercooler off I noticed this think brown paste on the intake side of the intercooler. Can any of you guys help me figure out where it came from? From what I can see it doesn't look like it is coming through the intercooler. I'm about to pull of the hose to the throttle body to see if its coming though there. Any help would be great.

hmmm the coolant tank looks horrible, but the oil on the dipstick looks ok...
i would think if hte oil cooler was shot or if you had a head gasket problem, the oil on the dipstick would be ****ty.
personally i have no idea how coolant could get
into the intercooler hose.
perhaps thru the turbo? or maybe the PCV system.
perhaps take off the pankcake valve on the turbo inlet hose?

Kinda looks like coolant and oil mixed (little oil, lotta coolant).
The sample pics of the oil and coolant reservoir look okay (except for the grunge accumulated at the top of your coolant tank).
I would follow Ray's advice and remove the turbo hose and take a look in there. It's normal for a little oil to work it's way through the intake tract. If coolant is also finding it's way in there, it might be a crack in the turbo housing that's allowing the coolant to leak down through the intake tract. Take a look and see if you can spot a little more mud up by the turbo.

that mud is a mixture of coolent and oil
a little oil in the ic hose is not a big deal but I have no i idea how you are getting coolant in there. you gotta figure out where the two fluids are mixing. like modified asked, what does the coolent tank look like? color of the oil in block? a bad turbo, blown head gasket, or bad oil cooler can cause these fluids to mix.
it looks like you have a major leak, you need to change your oil asap if it looks like the mud in the ic hose. I dont think the timing belt wp tsata job couldve this issue.
did you replace the t-stat and water pump when you replaced the TB? I know the timing seems very suspisious but off hand, i cant think of anything you could've done to make this happen.
changing the oil cooler is a cheap and easy swap, they cost about 60 bucks or so. a head gasket is a little more involved and will probabily cost about a 100 for a gasket and new head bolts DO NOT reuse the old ones.

I think the oil would look worse if it was a HG leak
and when a oil cooler fails I dont think you loose tons of coolant. In my limited experence the coolent picks up oil and gets draker when the oil cooler starts to fail. how is the turbo acting? any weird sounds? any sweet smelling white exhaust? its possible the turbo is buring coolant but i dont think it would burn as much as you seem to be loosing
