Default Just installed the UUC Motorwerks short shifter on my A4...

It was fairly easy to do (the instructions were great). The only hard part was getting the 6mm Allen bolt out. Of course, if I had the right tools, it would have been easier. I was using a 6mm Allen key, but a socket bit for the ratchet would have made it go much easier (and quicker). It took me about an hour to install, but I wasn't rushing it.

The shifts are much crisper now and throw is reduced significantly. I also noticed an improvement in the shift from 1st to 2nd, which was much slower and sloppier with the stock shifter. I highly recommend this upgrade.

Cost for the part? (yeah, I could search the archives, but ...). TIA

Default Its around $220. I installed one today in my A4. It was easy (I had the right tools) and took 1/2 hr

I'd recommend it.

Default I paid $239+$5 for shipping (link inside)...

You can order on-line (see link). Took a week to get to me (CO).
