milltek exhaust
I just bought a milltek catback exhuast kit for my car:
>>audi A4 1.8T, B5 2001
http://stratmosphere.com/milltek_a4_catback.htm
I got the:
'97-'01 A4 1.8T Quattro Catback Exhaust (downpipe included)
and being the nooby i am, I went to install it and realized that i dont have a cat.. and the one on my car is welded to the rest of the stock exhaust.
milltek's cat piece is 799.00 ... which i thought was a wee bit expensive for just a high flow cat..
>> does anyone know where i might be able to buy a used one? or possibly a cheaper alternative? or maybe even a good reason to get the milltek one..?

Re: milltek exhaust
How do you feel about a test pipe from ecodetuning.com for 249.99? Check out the pipe that replaces the cat, and if you use a mechanical o2 sim (google it), you can avoid a check engine light!
