Probably better then the price on a "new" tip gearbox.

Qfrog, might chime in here, but my guess is a new gearbox is around 3-4k. Consider yourself getting away on the easy side.

i have a 1999.5 A4 with 230km on it now and have soem trany problems and porb will end up replacing it soone ror laterl, i was just wonderign where you found it as i will be looking of rone soon, thanks

Yes. Test pipe on the way, halogen e-codes en route, need some oterh small stuff.

Hey.. can you tell me if front axles are left/right, and if so how do I know which is which, and howzabout a part number for a tip shifter rebuild kit?
